Celebrate Ferragosto, one of the most popular holidays in Italy held on August 15, at the Institute with a special Italian Summer screening series dedicated to Italian comedies, including classic and contemporary films.
The third movie of the series is the US premiere of Restiamo Amici (Friends Will Be Friends, Antonello Grimaldi, 2018, 87 min). The film tells the story of Alessandro (Michele Riondino), a young widower with children. His friend Gigi (Alessandro Roja) is dying and asks him one last favour. Gigi must have Alessandro's children pose as his own to receive the three million euro inheritance from Gigi's father.
