On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Italian Air Force, a special screening of the docufilm “I Cacciatori del Cielo” (2023, 90′) that recounts the gripping story of the birth of Italian military aviation, told through the heroic deeds of three men: Major Francesco Baracca, the leading ace of Italian aviation during the First World War; Captain Ruggero Piccio, who will become the first Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Bartolomeo Rocca, a fictional character who plays the plane mechanic of his fraternal friend Francesco Baracca.
