Presented during ITTV International 2026, and in the context of the 26th Italian Language Week in the World, this panel explores the unique fascination that the Italian language continues to inspire across the global creative industries.

For generations, Italian has been the language of music, cinema, art, and cultural heritage. Today, its influence continues to resonate far beyond Italy’s borders, attracting actors, producers, executives, and storytellers who feel a deep personal and professional connection to the country.

In this conversation, leading voices in the Industry share why they chose to learn Italian, build lives or projects in Italy, and how the language, and the culture behind it, continues to inspire creativity, storytelling, and international collaboration.

The panel will be moderated by Valentina Martelli and will feature Jill Gillet, a producer at Andiamo Media and a veteran of the television and film industry; Charles Ferraro, a partner and agent in UTA’s Motion Picture Literary division; and the actor David Giuntoli (Grimm, A Million Little Things, Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham).
