Join us for a special performance by pop-folk singer-songwriter and author Erica Mou. Celebrating the Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo, Erica’s set will feature a combination of words and music, with readings from her latest novel Una cosa per la quale mi odierai (Fandango Libri, 2024), accompanied by the songs that inspired them. Her debut novel, Nel mare c’è la sete (Fandango Libri 2020), was translated into English as Thirsty Sea and selected by The Times Literary Supplement as one of the best books of 2022.
The performance will be followed by a DJ set with music critic and radio host Luca De Gennaro, author of Generazione alternativa 1991-1995 (Rizzoli, 2024), which chronicles the rise of underground music in Italy in the early nineties.
