On the occasion of the 25th annual Week of Italian Language in the World, experience a moving blend of storytelling and music from Ethiopian-Italian writer, performer, and musician Gabriella Ghermandi. The intimate yet powerful performance interweaves thems of identity, memory, and resiliance through spoken excerepts from her novel Regina di fiori e di perle (2007, translated into English in 2015) and traditional Ethiopian songs. Free and open to the public.
Part of the 25th annual Week of Italian Language in the World, under the high patronage of the Presidency of the Italian Republic.
