Through songs, poems and theatrical monologues which are now a trademark of all his shows, multifaceted artist Gio Evan – a writer and poet, philosopher, humorist, performer, singer-songwriter and street artist – will take us on a journey through the history of Italian words which is also the history of our country, and explains how music and poetry can be a tool to achieve a more sustainable lifestyle, in harmony with our planet.

Promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute and ITA Italian Trade Agency, Los Angeles Office under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles, this event is part of HIT WEEK, the most important festival dedicated exclusively to the promotion of Italian music in the world. Active since 2009, HIT WEEK has been held in the United States, South America, Asia and Europe, with concerts and performances by some of the greatest Italian artists including Carmen Consoli, Franco Battiato, Subsonica, Caporezza and Negrita. The Festival’s mission has always also been to create opportunities for new and upcoming artists. The 17th edition of the festival is scheduled between 13 and 18 October 2023 in the United States in the cities of Miami and Los Angeles.
This event is also part of the 23rd edition of the Week of Italian Language in the World.
