A native of Campania, Michelangelo grew up on a farm helping his grandparents, so the concept of farm-to-table food is in his blood!
He moved to Los Angeles in 1993, where he landed a job with Antonio Tomassi at il Moro, and later on with Peppe Miele at La Trattoria, where he met his wife Patrizia.
Currently, he and his wife own and operate a very popular restaurant in Marina del Rey, Locanda Positano.
We are happy to have them at the Institute to share their passion for fresh market ingredients and home-made Italian food!
