The 23rd Week of Italian Language in the World, a yearly worldwide celebration of the Italian language and creativity taking place in the third week of October, will focus on the theme the Italian Language and Sustainability and the celebration for novelist Italo Calvino‘s centennial. Among the writers of contemporary Italian Literature, Italo Calvino (1923-1985) is the first environmentalist story-teller, who through his short stories reveals the emergency situation of urban ecosystems.
