Join us for the second Italian Sports Day in the World, a unique evening set in the greenery of Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills, for a conversation where sport, science, and performance converge under the sign of Italian excellence.
The panel discussion, moderated by journalist Veronica Maffei, will explore how scientific research, innovative industry, and athletic performance come together to shape a holistic vision of wellness and excellence. Maura Fanti, a postdoctoral researcher at USC’s Longevity Institute, studies how dietary strategies such as time-restricted eating and fasting-mimicking diets impact aging, chronic inflammation, and metabolic health. Fabrizio Gamberini brings insight from Vibram, the Italian company that is the world leader in the development and manufacturing of high-performance rubber soles for outdoor and leisure activities, where he directs research and innovation. And Sofia Cantore—recently signed by the Washington Spirit as the first Italian ever in the NWSL—joins us as the athlete voice, bringing her forward prowess and international experience from both Juventus and the Italian national team.
