happening > Eau de Eau. The art of the water crisis

EAUdeEAU+stars_smaller

An ineffable fragrance, a bottle shrouded in mystery. Eau de Eau is the art project by Max Papeschi and Arianna Bonucci, borrowing the language of perfumery to turn it into
vision, desire, and story. Here, water becomes image, memory, and poetic tension: a vital element reimagined as a symbol of luxury, seduction, and intrigue. A fragrance beyond definition, suspended between artwork and something to be worn on the skin, between reality and imagination.

The first drop premiered in Milan in May 2025, an exclusive launch blending artistic language with runway allure. Starting October 2025, the journey moves to the United States, emerging as a fragrance forever out of reach yet impossible to resist.

The happening will be followed by a round table discussion with the artists and Andrea Bonisoli Alquati, professor of environmental toxicology at California State University, Pomona, moderated by Marisa Caichiolo, artist, curator of DiverseArt for LA Art Show, and founder of the Building Bridges Art Exchange gallery.

Event organized by the Italian Cultural Institute under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles on the occasion of the 21st annual  Italian Contemporary Art Day promoted by AMACI.
