Lutenist Simone Vallerotonda will play in San Diego or the first time, after many concerts in the US, Australia, South America, and Europe, in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Sydney Conservatorium, Teatro de la Ciudad in Mexico City, Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, the Singapore Lyric Opera, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, London’s Wigmore Hall, Theater an der Wien, Theatre de Champs Élysées in Paris, Oporto’s Casa da Música, the Liszt Academy of Budapest, Berliner Philharmonie, and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, among others.
In addition to his solo activities, Simone also performs with Modo Antiquo, Rinaldo Alessandrini & Concerto Italiano, Imaginarium Ensemble, Cantar Lontano, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and Ottavio Dantone & Accademia Bizantina.
Simone’s performance in San Diego is organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles and CIDIM (Comitato Nazionale Italiano Musica).
