Burri Prometheia. The Californian Cycles of Burri.

The symposium Burri Prometheia at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) will examine the heritage of the Italian artist Alberto Burri through the largest work he created outside of Italy, the Large Black Crack, on the fortieth anniversary of its gifting to UCLA.

On January 10th at 6:30 pm the IIC will host a screening of Alberto Burri and Piero della Francesca: the two revolutions (2015, 52′. In Italian with English subtitles) by Luca Severi followed by a reading and a discussion with filmmakers, artists and historians.
