In celebration of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, Fondazione Italia, the Italian Cultural Institute Los Angeles, Guidi Marcello LTD and Saor Project™ are coming together to offer an Italian Cooking Workshop for kids ages 5-12. The workshop will be preceded by a screening of the short animated film, Fiabe di Riso. First screened at the Milano Expo, Fiabe di Riso, teaches children about the history and importance of rice, a precious resource in Italy, through the point of view of a single grain of rice named “Lino.”
After the film, the children will join Chef Alessandra in the kitchen to make some classic Italian rice dishes together.
