Nine contemporary Italian artists from the South of Italy (Apulia) are coming to California for the last part of “Between two Seas”. This contemporary art project, curated by Carmelo Cipriani (Italy) and Luigia Martelloni (U.S.A.), is focused on the mutual valorization of the local creativity and the creation of a dialogue between different cultures and territorial identity going beyond geographical borders.
It will take place from March 23rd to April 20th at S.M.A.S. spaces (Santa Monica) where the selected artists will show their works expressing their individual research in a collective interaction. They are: Gianfranco Basso, Luigi Billi, Lisetta Carmi, Giovanni Lamorgese, Ezia Mitolo, Pippo Patruno, Massimo Ruiu, Serena Semeraro, Alberto Vannetti.
