The acclaimed author Melania Mazzucco discusses from Rome her experience during the start of the pandemic and the influence the solitude will have on us.
Melania Mazzucco was born in Rome and earned a degree in Italian literature from La Sapienza University as well a a degree in cinema from the Experimental Center for Cinematography. In addition to her novels, which include Vita, Lei Cos Amata, and Il bacio della Medusa, she has written award-winning works for the cinema, theater, and radio. Vita was awarded the 2003 Strega Prize, Italy’s leading literary award. Her most recent book L’architettrice was published last year.
