Incontro con l’autore online: Marco Nereo Rotelli

Artist Marco Nereo Rotelli explores the relationship between art and poetry in his work, highlighting the theme of the upcoming 20th Italian Language Week in the World (October 19-25, 2020), Italian Between Word and Image: Graffiti, Illustrations, Comic Books. In his short video recorded at the start of quarantine he discusses collaborations connecting art and poetry that he has been exploring from his home in Italy.

Born in Venice in 1955, Marco Nereo Rotelli lives and works in Milan and Paris with a strong focus on the relationship between art and poetry. He holds an MBA in Architecture. Rotelli has created a solid relationship between art and other disciplines of knowledge for years. He involves in his research philosophers, musicians, photographers and film directors. He has illuminated major monuments such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Musee du Petit Palais in paris, the Beijing Olympics and has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale numerous times.
