Meet the Author Online: Franco Avicolli

Academic expert and writer Franco Avicolli recounts his experience during quarantine in Venice. 

Franco Avicolli was the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Cordoba (Argentina); Expert at the Italian Cultural Institute in Mexico City; Researcher at the Cuban Academy of Sciences; Manager for external relations and the press office of the IUAV. He founded the magazine “Azzurra”, the association “Itaca for the culture of legality and responsibility”. He collaborates with the “Domenica” of the newspaper il Sole 24 Ore. The Un. Catt. of Cordoba awarded him an honorary degree in 1998. He works with design, promotion and implementation of cultural projects and activities. The city is a place where man builds his own destiny, it is the thematic center of cultural activity. He has written numerous publications in Italian and Spanish.
