In its institutional mission, the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles supports the participation of individuals and institutions, and may accept proposals of cultural events, such as exhibitions, performances, lectures, book presentations and film screenings.
Proposals from various sectors (art, music, cinema, theater, dance, fashion, design, photography, science, etc.) are accepted and are evaluated by the following criteria
- Artistic and professional quality
- Relevance to the Institute’s programming guidelines
- Technical and economic feasibility in relation to a Southwest tour and local collaborations
Please note that commercial or for-profit initiatives are excluded from cultural programming.
Projects or cultural proposals should be sent to iicla@esteri.it with a brief description and a technical/ financial profile. Please do not send heavy attachments, they will be requested upon interest.
All proposals will be carefully evaluated. Nevertheless, in view of the very high number of requests, only those considered for possible inclusion in the Institute’s program will be answered.
