The European University Institute of Florence (EUI) has announced the launch, for the academic year 2024-2025, of a new higher education course, the “Global Executive Master”. The Master is aimed at young policy-making professionals – already active in the private sector, in the public sector and in civil society – interested in strengthening their knowledge, progressing in their professional path, and becoming agents of change in their respective sectors of competence.
Lasting two years, the EUI GEM provides a flexible structure and a part-time attendance formula, which allows participants to combine their full-time work with a period of high-level academic training. During the first year, students will follow four fundamental modules – Applied Political Science, Economics for Policymakers, Business and Government, Big and Smart Data Analytics – acquiring the foundations for a deep understanding of the dynamics of policy-making and its complex interactions with the economy, government and global trends. Starting from the second year, participants will be able to deepen their knowledge and specify their study path by choosing from one of the four curricula proposed by the Master: Energy and Climate; Economics and Finance; Technology and Governance; Geopolitics and Security.
The application deadline is May 15, 2024. In September 2024, the EUI GEM will launch its first edition by welcoming the first group of 30 students. More information on the structure of the Master and the related call for the academic year 2024-2025 is available here.
